Shiraz’s sire, Stakkato has been a dominant stallion in the Hanoverian breeding value rankings  for many consecutive years and has been producing a number of emerging stallions that are making waves as both competition horses and breeding stallions, such as, Spartacus, Stakkato Gold and Satisfaction. Stakkato himself, ridden by Eva Bitter, was a successful competitor in international competitions like Nations Cups and Grands Prix.
From his dam-line comes blood from one of Germany’s finest producers of showjumping horses and approved stallion, Raphael. Radiator, Rene Tebel’s top Grand Prix horse is a product of Raphael. Shiraz’s grand-dam is the versatile Pik Koenig who produced numerous dressage and showjumping horses.
